The Florida Department of Health is issuing an alert to all Florida licensed medical practitioners about a scam where individuals who claim to be with the Florida Board say the practitioner’s license has been suspended due to drug charges. However, the practitioner is told to call a number not associated with the Department- 804-293-0309.
