The Florida Board of Nursing Home Administrators is composed of seven members appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Senate: Three members of the board must be licensed nursing home administrators. Two members of the board must be health care practitioners. The remaining two members of the board must be laypersons who are not, and have never been, nursing home administrators or members of any health care profession or occupation. At least one member of the board must be 60 years of age or older.
